Pic of the Week!

So, the pic of this week has special meaning. Penn State got a really big win on Saturday night, I'm a huge fan and today we spent some time carving some pumpkins with Alexa. I had to make a PSU logo on one of them, of course. So, here it is. We are... PENN STATE!!

Jami & Rob walkin' through Lancaster

Lancaster city has some great architecture that I learned of when Beth Cardwell met with my family to do some pictures. I managed to talk Jami and Rob into doing some photos downtown for their engagement session. We had a great time and even though Jami was a bit nervous to start. Things loosened up as we walked down an alley and then it was fun and free sailing from there. What a great time, enjoy them.

On the steps of the courthouse.

In some ivy down an alley.

The Central Market has some great architecture with some great brick work.

What a happy looking couple, I can't wait for the wedding next year!

I managed to get a shot with the water from the new fountain directly above them. Immediately one of my favorite shots from this shoot.

A ring and a kiss.

Hanging in the art school outdoor lounge.

Parking garages are cool!

Stairs are even cooler!

And finished up with a few more where we started on the steps of the courthouse.

Pic of the Week! (AKA my birthday)

OK, a small plug to my Bday. I'm less happy about it than I was last year.

Anyway, here is my pic of the week for this week. This tree has been changing slowly out front of work for the past 2 weeks or so. I kept saying, "I need to get a picture of that thing before it fully changes over".

I finally took the time to stop and snap a few. It is just a beautiful view of the tree with a bright blue sky behind. Enjoy!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere!! 10.19.08

How many pumpkins could a little girl pick, if a little girl could pick pumpkins?

We took our daughter Alexa out to the Country Barn Farm Market to pick her first pumpkin. She had a blast! Everything from riding on the bumpy tractor, to seeing the animals was so much fun. However, the act of actually picking the pumpkins was a bit tough due to the high grass and such that made it tough for even myself and Melissa to walk through. We all had a bunch of fun though. Enjoy the pics.

The family out for pumpkins.

Mommy and Alexa anxiously awaiting the tractor.

Checking out the other tractor that wasn't running.

Mommy and Alexa on the tractor.

Lovin' the ride!! Just having a blast!

Finding her first Pumpkin!

It's so heavy!

Walkin' through the pumpkin patch.

A pumpkin buried in the patch.

Mommy holding Alexa's pumpkin on the way back to the tractor.

I love pumpkin time!

That pumpkin looks a bit big for you.

Yeah, good try.

Showing off her take for the day.

Lindsay & Tim Engagement

You would think it wouldn't be tough to come up with a woodsy location in PA, but Lindsay finally found this great place below York called Lake Redman. Well we got there and decided that the next lake over (Lake Williams) was a better spot. So we spent some time in two locations there and then headed over to a park with a kids playset for some fun! It was a crisp fall morning that couldn't have been more beautiful for this shoot which actually got pushed back from a rainy day a few weeks back. Thanks for such a fun time guys, I think it really shows through. Enjoy the pics.

Sitting on the dock...

Sitting on the dock, cuddling away.

Getting into each other on the dock.

Such a good looking couple and so easy to photograph.

I just thought this was the cutest!

Looking up the towards the large trees on the other side of the lake.

A great shot of Lindsay. I love the look on her face here.

Having fun on the swingset.

Having more fun in the playset!

Nicole - Senior Pictures

I met up with Nicole and her mom Bev Saturday morning for some senior pictures for Nicole. We started out walking around the beautiful little town of Marietta, PA. Then it was off to Little Chickies creek for some field and stream fun. Nicole was so much fun and easy to shoot. I hope you like this short set for now.

In front of a white brick house.

Lots of pics by this white house. It was beautiful!

Such a great smile!

Down to the Railroad house for a few shots.

The architecture was amazing!

Such a modern look to her.

Down some steps at the Railroad House.

Looking down to the landing below. Such an easy model to shoot.

I found this tree with branches hanging down to the ground, set up a light inside and got this result. This tree was beautiful and made for some great shots!

In front of another house. I just liked the lines that were created.

Off to Little Chickies, only to get her to hang out in a tree.

Again, such a great smile.

Thinking about the future ahead of her?? Just a great look!

Walking down a path. The sunlight was very dramatic.

A simple one between some treelings to finish it off.

Bev and Nicole, I just have to say thanks for being so much fun and allowing me to do what I do! It was a fun time! Enjoy the pics.
